The Civil war is over, and after a long forty years, Reading Abbey has finally been completed. It should be a weekend filled with joy, but King Henry's political and romantic relationships are at crisis point. Meanwhile, in the shadows of the Abbey, a would-be poet Bart and his friend Amaria find it is a weekend that will change their lives forever.
Henry II is the final chapter of the multi-award winning Conquerors trilogy.
